i havent heard the show yet, but i've seen them a bunch of times so i know it kicks ass. they're from my home town and i'm friends with a couple of them. they recently changed their name to "basement chemistry," so if you're in the midwest area check'em out on jambase.com . if you want to get a hold of them just do a search and im sure you can find their website. they have a couple of cd's out that friggen rock, and email them for more info. these guys are serious musicians, and i know they would love to hear some words of incouragement.

Subject: first timer....
This is the first time I have ever heard of this band, but this Medeski, Martin, and Wood'esque group is deeply rooted in jazz and funk, although is has a jam-band like rythm. Once I started this set, I was hooked, the cover songs never stopped and they were good renditions. Sound quality was 6 out of 10 in my opinion. If your looking for something different here it is, these guys rock...

Notes

notes: slight issues with the p.a. system all night. some static, feedback, and pops are present on a small parts of the show
